Hedwig and the Angry Inch

Kitchen Dog Theater presents the Area Premiere of the outrageous rock musical Hedwig and the Angry Inch, with text by John Cameron Mitchell and music and lyrics by Stephen Trask. Winner of multiple awards including the prestigious Obie and Drama Desk Awards, the darkly comic play follows the travails of Hedwig, an East German transsexual with an “angry inch” as a result of a botched sex change operation, as she relates her story in rock opera form with her band and takes the audience along on a quest for her missing identity.
