A Thousand Clowns

This romantic heartfelt comedy focuses on the lives of precocious 12-year-old Nick and his uncle Murray Burns. Murray, tired of writing comedy for a children’s television show chipmunk, finds himself unemployed with some free time to do everything he’s always wanted to do -like standing on New York City’s Park Avenue yelling, “All right all you rich people ; everybody on the street for volleyball!” When child welfare authorities determine that the unemployed and eccentric Murray does not provide the best environment for Nick, Murray must make a decision where to find a balance between his unconventional behavior and his love for his nephew.
