About this show

Lewis Black's meteoric rise to the pantheon of today's stand-up comedians has put him in the company of Jerry Seinfeld, Jon Stewart, and the late George Carlin. He's been a fixture on Comedy Central for more than a decade, starting with his rants on The Daily Show(Black in Black), and including TV specials, albums for the network's record label—The Carnegie Hall Performance, which won the 2007 Grammy for the year's Best Comedy Album, and most recently, the Grammy-nominated In God We Rust. There have been HBO specials, regular appearances on Inside the NFL and CNN, movie roles as an actor (Man of the Year), and he's even found time to write 40 plays and three best-selling books.
