Humpty Dumpty

Eric Bogosian, one of America?s premier performers and most original playwrights, brings us the world premiere of his new play Humpty Dumpty, commissioned by McCarter and staged by award-winning director (and frequent Bogosian collaborator) Jo Bonney.

Humpty Dumpty as the title suggests, is about precarious things ? a concept that has added resonance in light of September 11th, though the play was conceived and initially written before that tragic day. The play center on a group of young urban over-achievers on a weekend country outing equipped with everything but survival skills.
