Chris Botti

Trumpet master Chris Botti’s lush, sensuous sounds and melodic soul will captivate McCarter audiences once again in his much-anticipated return. Since his last Princeton visit, his latest album—a jazz-pop fusion entitled Impressions—was a recent Grammy Award winner and he was commissioned to write and perform his version of Chopin’s Prelude No. 20 in C minor in Warsaw for the 200th anniversary of the composer’s birth. Botti is a true jazz superstar, playing with a uniquely expressive sound and soaring musical imagination.
