About the Show
In this focused two-session class, students will use improvisation as a tool to unlock creativity, spontaneity, and authenticity in performance. Through guided exercises, you’ll discover how improv techniques can deepen character work, expand emotional range, and make your acting choices more dynamic. Each session connects directly to scene study, allowing you to apply what you’ve explored in improv to scripted material.
The preceding Character Development classes are required to attend these sessions, ensuring everyone has the shared foundation needed to succeed.
Both class dates are required. Students may register for each session individually or save by making a one-time payment through the Education package. Discounted rates are available for current HLT members with up-to-date dues. Additional fees applied.
