Good Lit at the Geary

The Commonwealth Club of California and American Conservatory Theater (A.C.T.), two of San Francisco’s most prestigious cultural institutions, collaborates for the first time to present Good Lit at the Geary, a series showcasing several of America’s preeminent writers, actors, and artists in conversation with The Commonwealth Club Literary Director Barbara Lane. Confirmed featured guests include actress/author Anna Deavere Smith on April 19, Pulitzer Prize winner Jane Smiley on May 24, and famed crime novelist Elmore Leonard on June 7. Each program begins at 8pm, including an hour-long conversation with the featured artist, hosted by Lane, followed by a question and answer session with the audience. A book signing completes each evening.
