Just in time for Halloween, Burbage Theatre Co presents the world premiere of “Witching Hour Social Club,” a new horror anthology for the stage by longtime Burbage collaborator James Lucey, directed by Allison Crews. Inspired by “Creepshow,” “Tales from the Crypt,” and “Are You Afraid of the Dark?,” this spine-tingling theatrical event invites you into a haunted gathering of estranged friends who reunite in the woods after 15 years—only to find something sinister lurking on the cassette tapes of their high school storytelling club. Following last year’s sold-out workshop, this limited engagement features an ensemble cast of local talent and delivers a chilling, thrilling, and surprisingly heartfelt theatrical experience.
