Much Ado About Nothing

Before Homer and Marge, before Lucy and Ricky, before George and Martha, there were Beatrice and Benedick. Roped irresistibly towards each other by a God with a perverse sense of humor; struggling valiantly to be minor characters, and to let the more conventional Claudio and Hero be the protagonists; they desperately fight their fate with a colossal avalanche of verbal repartee that sparkles like a Mediterranean night, but to no avail. They are doomed to love.
