About the Show
Stephen Sondheim’s fairy tale musical with book by James Lapine. In order to reverse a witch’s curse and have a baby, the baker and his wife have to venture Into the Woods, wherein they meet the all-too-familiar fairy tale characters. The show won three Tony awards in 1987 including Best Score and Best Book.
