New York City
Showtime: 2pm
A kaleidoscope of color, sound, taste, procession and connection, featuring: the unveiling of community-created, artist-inspired commissioned artwork by Anne Labovitz and her I Love You Institute; conversations with local farmers, organizers, and others about what is sustainable for us as a community, both in body and soul; a joyful noise celebration by community singers under the direction of Eric Dozier, former director of the Harlem Boys Choir; and a closing processional to the river where we will cast our cares, as well as our hopes and dreams, out on the water to seed joy in the future.
