A Christmas Carol…More or Less

Sarah and Charlie, whose marriage is on the rocks, run a small theatre that’s presenting A Christmas Carol.

With a packed house, Charlie shows up backstage to tell Sarah that the cast and crew won’t make it because they are snowed out and that he won’t be able to fly to LA that night because he’s snowed in.

Furious, Sarah capitalizes on Charlie’s remarkable memory and blackmails him into doing the play.

Begrudgingly, he agrees to play Scrooge, and she will play everyone else.

As the performance proceeds, Charlie gets drawn back into his relationship with Sarah. They manage to perform much of the play, with their personal story invading the Dickens tale, informing it with multiple levels of meaning.
