Bus Stop

The midnight bus to Topeka brings down-home drama to Grace’s Diner, where the passengers take refuge from a snowstorm. At the center of it all are Bo, a rambunctious young cowboy, and Cherie, the sweet little chanteuse he’s determined to marry. Turns out Cherie has dreams of her own that don’t include him. As the long night passes, the locals and their guests get to know each other and themselves a little better. Grab a stool and enjoy a true American classic seasoned with a dash of bittersweet experience, and full of wise, good-natured humor. Libby Appel directs.
