Emancipation of Valet du Chambre, The

The Cleveland Playhouse is proud to present the world premiere of Murphy Guyer’s The Emancipation of Valet du Chambre, based on Pudd’nhead Wilson by Mark Twain. Part mystery, part satire, Twain’s rich, humorous tale juggles issues of personal identity and race and raises questions about how Americans view themselves and their place in society.
