About the Show

The Cleveland Shakespeare Festival offers a rotating repertory of free performances. It’s a wonderful opportunity to see the Bard, and can be enjoyed by all ages.

Playing in repertory:

Love’s Labours Lost, directed by Eric Schmiedl

Shakespeare’s romantic play centers on the King of Navarre and his three friends who take an oath to renounce women for three years. When the Princess of France and her three attractive companions arrive, the men soon discover the impossibility of denying the power of true love.

The Comedy of Errors, directed by Brian Zoldessy
The Bard’s timeless comedy is about two sets of twins, separated in a shipwreck, presumed lost at sea to the heartbreak of their father. In a classic turn of events, they arrive by chance in the quiet town of Ephesus and the result is mass confusion in a farce of mischief and mistaken identity, madness and reunion.
