Richard Loring’s African Footprint

Enjoyed by more than 250 million viewers around the world, South Africa’s longest-running show, Richard Loring’s African Footprint, has come to the United States for the first time.
It tells the vibrant and diverse history of South Africa through a blend of Afro- and Euro-centric music and dance. The African drum, the saxophone, and the pennywhistle come together with Kwela-jive, traditional gumboot, tap, contemporary ballet, hip hop and pantsula.
