Othello

Shakespeare’s Othello tells the story of a strong-headed, innocent, noble man who lets his mind be poisoned by jealousy until in the end he destroys the thing he loves and then wakes from his madness to destroy himself. The play is a study in evil; the poisoner, Iago, takes pleasure in what he is doing, and works at his monstrous design with the intent care of an artist from hell.
