About the Show

Written by Richard Maxwell, House allows us to meet a very ordinary American family in a very ordinary house on a very ordinary day. A stranger appears with murder on his mind and pride, vengeance, mystery and betrayal all come into play. So does a plate of toast. As Maxwell puts it, “I’m not interested in the autobiographical, the personal or the emotionally invested…it’s about resisting a point of view.”
