Romeo & Juliet

Romeo, doff thy name,
And for thy name, which is no part of thee,
Take all myself.

They strike their single spark of youthful love into a broad dark sky of ancient hate, and we know the spark will die in the night. But what would their love be if they didn’t believe it could banish the old darkness? Who would they be if their love were tainted with doubt? They wouldn’t be themselves, and we would be bereft of Romeo & Juliet.
