Multi-award choreographer Chiara Ajkun reimagines The Nutcracker as an immersive show that blends classical numbers with spectacular dances capturing cultures around the world. To best enjoy the exquisite dancers from the New York City company of the Ajkun Ballet Theatre, you are seated feet away from the performance, surrounded by Tchaikovsky’s classical music, and welcome to take videos and photos. New in the 2025 Show: blended with classic numbers like the waltz of the Snowflakes will be native cultural expressions from around the world, such as a Chinese scene set by Alison Chen, a former dancer with Shen Yun.
