It’s April 3, 1968, the eve of the assassination of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr., who has just delivered his famous speech, “I’ve been to the Mountaintop.” In this surrealistic fantasy, a mysterious hotel maid brings Dr. King a cup of coffee and prompts him to confront his life, his past, his legacy and the plight and future of his people.
