Magna Carta

Magna Carta is a new musical with a book by Ed Lange and music and lyrics by George David Weiss and Will Severin. Almost 800 years ago, in times of knighthood and brutality, the Great Charter established principles that ultimately led to the Declaration of Independence. The musical sweeps through 40 years of medieval intrigue, heroism, betrayal, and romance, beginning with the family troubles of King Henry II and ending as the English barons present their demands to King John.
