About This Show

The Pulitzer Prize and nine-time Tony Award-winning musical, South Pacific tells the story of Ensign Nellie Forbush, a Navy nurse from Little Rock, who falls in love with the distinguished Emile de Becque, a French planter who for some years has been living on the island paradise. Meanwhile, Lt. Joe Cable falls in love with the bawdy Bloody Mary’s daughter, Liat. Memorable tunes from this Rodgers and Hammerstein classic include “Some Enchanted Evening,” “Bali Ha’i,” and “Younger than Springtime.”
