Annie Get Your Gun

Annie Oakley is the best shot around, and she supports her brother and sisters through her awesome talent as a markswoman. Buffalo Bill persuades this sharpshooter to join his Wild West Show, where she falls head over heels for the shooting ace Frank Butler. She soon eclipses him, which is good for business, but bad for romance. After Butler joins a rival show, the two are inevitably pitted against each other. The finale causes everyone to appreciate Annie’s ingenuity in resolving this romantic duo’s conflicts. Suffolk “Y” Theatre presents Annie Get Your Gun, an Irving Berlin musical filled with all the “Berlin Songs” you’ll recognize.
