Global Water Dances

About the Show

To highlight the current challenges to clean water – internationally and in our area — Joan Arnold directs a community dance by the river in Ancram near the banks of the Roeliff Jansen Kill. Donna Barrett choreographs the opening with the group she directs, Hudson’s Wild Roses Troupe. Joan Arnold choreographs the following sections with local dancers. One section of the dance will be shared movement with all Global Water Dances around the world. The performance will end with audience participation.

This performance will begin at the Ancram Opera House. Audience will be guided down the hill to the river. In case of rain, the performance will be done indoors.
