Drosselmeyer’s Nutcracker

About the Show

The Nutcracker will be a full length theatrical play with excerpts from the ballet performed by classical ballet students from Creation Studio, a small business located here in Oswego. This fresh take on a classic story will bring to life the magic and fantasy of Christmas Eve through the eyes of Clara.

Clara’s family is throwing a Christmas party. Clara’s Uncle Drosselmeyer arrives and tells the children a story about a prince cursed and seeking adventure. Clara gets the Nutcracker but her younger brother Fritz breaks it. Her uncle then fixes the Nutcracker and she says she loves the Nutcracker. This causes the magic for the rest of the night.
