Via Galactica

CooperArts, the performing Arts series at The Cooper Union
in NYC, presents a concert presentation of the songs from Galt MacDermot and Christopher Gore’s 70’s musical Via Galactica. The story (in this concert version) concerns the congregating of all the elements in society who are dissatisfied with the world as it is being run and want to move to a new Galaxy specifically the planet Alebaran. In the course of meeting they voice in song their fears, hopes, memories and feelings of the moment.
