Tianxu Liu Violin Recital

Violinist Tianxu Liu frames two world premieres, featuring traditional Chinese poetry and Greek mythology, with sonatas by Beethoven and Faure. This program synthesizes Tianxu’s intimate relationship with diverse communities and cultures

(Tianxu is a prize winner in several major competitions in China. She was invited to play with many conductors while she is pursuing her degrees. Sarah Chang comment about Tianxu’s performance “This is the most beautiful beginning of the spring sonata I’ve ever heard.”
Now Tianxu is working as a substitute violin player in New World Symphony while pursuing her DMA in violin performanc. Tianxu was invited to be a contracted player with Venice symphony orchestra, and she was a concertmaster of the world premiere opera ” the leopard” ,working with Gerard Schwartz, the Music director of Palm Beach symphony and the met opera artists.
Currently Tianxu is using 1714 Giuseppe Guarneri “filius Andreae” violin graciously on loan by the University of Miami Frost
