SONGS OF PIER PAOLO PASOLINI as sung by Aisha Cerami and Nuccio Siano
"Siano is mainly an actor [...] not labeled as a singer but does so excellently..." - The Times, Malta edition
Controversial director Pier Paolo Pasolini was also a poet, an author and a song-writer. In the late fifties, he wrote songs trying to infuse poetic form into the Italian pop songs. Those songs have been put to music by composer such as Domenico Modugno, Sergio Endrigo and Piero Piccioni.
Those songs appear now, for the first time ever, on a New York stage, re-interpreted by the great Italian actors Aisha Cerami and Nuccio Siano.
