The Last Five Years: Concert Version

For the CooperArts Fall 2003 season finale, Tony award winning composer
Jason Robert Brown and actress Lauren Kennedy are coming to The Cooper
Union to perform a concert version of Brown’s musical The Last Five
Years. The story depicts a tumultuous love affair between Jamie, a successful novelist portrayed by Brown, and Cathy, a struggling actress played by Lauren Kennedy. The two characters, one Jewish and the other Irish, meet, fall deeply in love, marry, grow apart and separate all within a five- year span.
