The Hidden Satings

The Hidden Sayings is a creative exploration of the interaction between songs from the south of the United States, belonging to the slave tradition, and texts related to early Christianity, translated from Coptic. The potential explored by this work manifests through basic and yet complex elements – intention, action, contact, word, song, dance – that combine to create conditions for a new kind of encounter to take place.
