Storyteller and writer Laura Simms will tell life stories about childhood visits to Manhattan, sharing the Romanian fairytale retold by The Bird Woman of Central Park. Simms combines true life stories with mythic tales in a celebration of the cultural feast of places and peoples of Manhattan to bring us the special landscape of our city seen through a child’s eyes.
