The Little Orchestra Society returns to its inaugural venue, The Town Hall, with a multi-media concert that celebrates New York through music, light and photography. This performance features never-before-seen photographs of New York by Michael Kenna with projections and lighting produced by Elliott Forrest of WQXR.

Maestro Dino Anagnost will mark the Orchestra’s 60th Anniversary Season with an era-spanning program featuring works by some of New York’s greatest 20th Century composers including Leonard Bernstein, Aaron Copland, John Corigliano, George Gershwin and Morton Gould.

The evening’s program revisits important works in the history of The Little Orchestra Society by Heitor Villa-Lobos and Arturo Marquez as well as an aria from Gian Carlo Menotti’s Pulitzer Prize-winning opera “The Consul,” sung by internationally-acclaimed soprano Indra Thomas.
