Stage Door Canteen

The Worth Street Theater Company commemorates its Drama Desk Award-winning Stage Door Canteen, a USO-style variety show that ran at the Playhouse for several weeks during the recovery effort following the attack on the World Trade Center. The show features many of the stars and celebrities that made the original Canteen such a resounding success. Confirmed participants include Mario Cantone, Daisy Eagan, and Colin Quinn.

At 5pm, there is a special benefit reception at Fresh, a new Tribeca restaurant at 107 Reade Street. Tickets to the reception are $150 per person, and go to help Worth Street/Tribeca retire its 9/11 deficit.

All Ground Zero Workers and volunteers, including all uniformed personnel will be admitted for FREE. As seating permits, the Canteen runion is open to the general public, as well.
