Physical Acting Workshops

Stephen Wangh, author of An Acrobat of the Heart, teaches two Physical Acting Workshops.

January 11-13: Introduction to Physical Acting
Includes warm-up, full-body work, and plastique exercises. For actors with little or no Grotowski training.

January 14-18: Physical Acting Intensive
In depth work with the plastiques, the voice-body connection, monologues. For actors already familiar with Grotowski traning AND for those who have taken the Introduction training January 11-13.

***LIMITED ENROLLMENT***

Class meets 7 hours a day, from 10am-5pm. Each day includes a lunch break from 1:30-2:30pm EXCEPT on Sunday, January 12 when the class meets from 6pm-10pm.

Price Scale

Introduction to Physical Acting: $300
Physical Acting Intensive: $600
Both workshops: $750

Requirements: Attach a letter of interest describing your training and performance. Include your name, address, home phone, work phone, alternate phone, and e-mail. Please list two references, state his/her relation to you and your work.
