Paradise Follies

Paradise Follies is a gala to support Hourglass Group’s mission to develop and produce provocative new plays and neglected classics — and a tribute to the remarkable Dorothy Wegman Raphaelson (1904-2005), second-to-last of the legendary Ziegfeld Girls.

SCHEDULE

6:30pm: Gala Champagne Reception featuring Michael Garin on the piano.
8pm: Tribute film to “Dorshka” Raphaelson, followed by Screening of Ernst Lubitsch’s Trouble in Paradise, screenplay by Samson Raphaelson; Introduction by Joel Raphaelson.
10pm: After-party at Balance (215 West 28th Street), a new Chelsea speakeasy
with special Paradise cocktail reception sponsored by Grey Goose Vodka.
