NYCGMC’s Our Journey: A Celebration of Gay Pride premieres Metamorphosis, the acclaimed new choral suite by composer Robert Seeley and lyricist Robert Espindola. Set as a journey through childhood, coming out, family disillusionment, and reconciliation, this stirring masterpiece celebrates the stages of the lives of gay men — and captures the essence of what it means to be human. In a first for the NYCGMC, this work features one of the most acclaimed companies in contemporary dance, Jennifer Muller/The Works. Kevin Chamberlin also makes a special appearance.
