Wonder Woman Wears Raggedy Ann Pajamas tells the story of Sophie Andrades, a neurotic, 30-year-old, recovering-alcoholic actress who tries to escape following in her mother’s self-destructive footsteps by confronting the pain of her past. Her mother, Chula, is an outspoken, intelligent, Republican-hating, agoraphobic, somewhat-functioning alcoholic and we are taken into her journey during this critical time as well. Mother and daughter simultaneously plunge into a spiritual abyss as they deal with their 5-year estrangement and the ghosts of their past.
