About This Show

Winter One-Acts is the latest in Horse Trade Theater Group’s ongoing commitment to using their spaces to fill the gap left in the downtown art community by decade-long grant cuts, lack of workshop space, and sparse funding for new works.
No Exitway (The Road Trip From Hell) by Clay McLeod Chapman. A mad, satirical look at a dysfunctional family, trapped in a car on the highway together. A hilarious parody and tribute to Jean-Paul Sartre’s No Exit.
Reconstructed Destinies by David Risk. In a plastic surgery hospital waiting room, four strangers confess the hidden reason which brings each there. Witty dialogue masks dark secrets.
Past Palpable by Dave DeChristopher. This clever, dark comedy explores the possibilities of the effects of Post-Traumatic Stress Syndrome and a date gone wrong.
16E by Alex Dawson. Three guys working in a tollbooth on the NJ Turnpike shoot the breeze in their break room, discussing life as we know it. (Strong Language)
Cantabile by J. Holtham. A witty, smart, and sensual comedy. A bar. A dance. A blue-collar boy meets a white-collar woman. Will they do the nasty? Will they do the nice?
