Weapons of Pants Destruction

MADAME FUNNYPANTS, New York’s most original comedy duo, present Weapons of Pants Destruction, a politically and romantically charged version of the universe as we know it, brought to you by a man and a woman who live there. This Persian/Jewish combo makes war negotiation hilarious, blurs the distinction between sex and politics, and asks the ever-important question, if you had to make out with stem cells or a Caesar salad, which one would it be?

Negin Farsad and Alexander Zalben, a “kinetic” and “clever” sketch comedy pair, based in New York City, have been working together for nine years. As Madame Funnypants, they have been nominated for Best Comedic Duo at the Emerging Comics of New York Awards, and performed around the country as an official selection of: the Los Angeles, Atlanta, & Miami Improv Festivals (2004); the Chicago Sketchfest & Big Red Comedy Festival (2003, 2004); HA! Comedy Fest (2003); and the Above Kleptomania Improv Festival (2002).
