War Music

The Verse Theater Manhattan presents War Music, the second part in a triptych of plays based on Homer’s Iliad. This sequel to Kings continues the story of Achilles’ withdrawal from King Agamemnon’s army as a result of the King’s appropriation of Achilles’ female slave. Achilles and Agamemnon grudgingly reconcile after the slaughter of Patroclus, Achilles beloved companion, during a fierce and raging battle between the Greeks and the Trojans. James Miltion directs.
