About This Show

Get ready for Twist Party, a full-fledged stage show in the spirit of Hullabaloo, Zeigfield Follies and Laugh In, with some modern touches. This wildly over-the-top show features the Grammy nominated, toe tappin’ tunes of Los Straitjackets, the award winning choreography and unbelievable costumes of burlesque’s grand dames, The World Famous Pontani Sisters, and the velvet voice and talented twisting skills of Scotland’s king of cool, Kaiser George!

Los Straitjackets were formed in the early ’90s. More than a decade and some seven albums later, they are a multimedia phenomenon, touring with Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers, performing on Late Night With Conan O’Brien, having their music featured in movies like Jimmy Neutron, Harriet the Spy, Two Days in the Valley and Meet the Parents, and attracting celebrity fans such as Robert Rodriguez, Quentin Tarantino, Jackson Browne, Rob Zombie, Jimmy Buffett, Jeff Foxworthy and Dennis Rodman.

The World Famous Pontani Sisters jumpstarted their performance career early, performing for family and friends by dancing on picnic tables with a Frank Sinatra eight-track as accompaniment and spaghetti as their pay. Now, years later, they tour the world as the pioneering force of the new Burlesque, spreading their glamour gospel and bringing classic sass back to the best venues on earth! The Sisters have traveled with Los Straitjackets and Kaiser George as well as with Pontani Productions’ Burlesque-A-Pades. They also co-produce the very successful New York Burlesque Festival. They have single-handedly revived the glamour of burlesque and ’50s kitsch with their winning dance routines and over the top costumes, earning the title #1 Burlesque Attraction in the Nation by AOL.com. They have made multiple appearances on Late Night with Conan O’Brien, Queer Eye for the Straight Guy, The Caroline Rhea Show and more. Their ground-breaking dance instructional Go-Go Robics DVD releases have helped folks all over the world get their tail feathers shaking with ease!
