About This Show

Deliberately jarring, tri-chot-o-my welds together three one-acts — Conversing Elevens, Dunce, and Trampoline — into one entity that traverses the human condition through comedy, tragedy, and tragicomedy.

Conversing Elevens — which the Washington Post heralded “a play that is both thought-provoking and entertaining” — delves into the farcical foibles of a modern couple’s dinner-cum-therapy session moderated by an unqualified waiter curiously named Sigmund.

In a Martin McDonagh-meets-Samuel Beckett manner, Dunce dances on the edge of absurdity with three people imprisoned in a room, their memories shattered, a dunce cap their only means of escape.

Trampoline exposes the tragic backlash of a privileged young man’s reckless belief that his father, a judge, can save him from any fate, no matter how severe.
