About the Show
To the Death of My Own Family is an intensely dramatic non-linear play about an Afghan-American woman who returns to the land she fled with her mother as a child to help her father escape, and then has to justify her journey, reclaim her citizenship, and relive lives lost, during an interrogation when she comes home to the United States.
