About This Show

Thunderbird American Indian Dancers holds their annual Dance Concert and Pow Wow at Theater for the New City. The troupe’s appearances benefit college funds for needy Native American students. Between 20 and 30 dancers assemble for a performance of dances, stories, and traditional music from the Iroquois and Native Peoples of the Northwest Coast, the Southwest, the Plains, and for the first time, the Arctic regions.

Sundays are kids’ days. At both the 2:00pm and 5:00pm performances, children under 12 accompanied by a ticket-bearing adult are admitted for $1.00 (adults $10.00).
