About the Show
The Luminous Group presents The Sea, by renowned Icelandic playwright Olafur Hakur Simonarson. In a last resort to save his family business from a corporate buyout, an aging businessman calls upon his grown children, hoping for their support in keeping the family business intact. It is not long before he realizes his offspring are as shrewd and calculated, if not more, than the buyout he is running from. Kristina O’Neal directs this tale of an extremely painful family reunion, translated by Bernard Scudder.
