The Samuel French Off Off Broadway Short Play Festival

In the 42 years of the Off-Off Broadway Short Play Festival, over 500 theater companies and schools have participated. Participants have included companies from across the country as well as from Canada, Singapore, and the United Kingdom. The festival offers a prize of publication and licensing for six short plays in Samuel French’s notable Off-Off Broadway Short Play Festival series. In addition, the 24 semifinalists each receive a full production in one of New York City’s leading off-Broadway theaters.
