About the Show
In this rowdy musical based on a Eudora Welty novel, a handsome robber tricks and seduces the inhabitants of a poor farming town on the Natchez Trace in antebellum Mississippi. The Robber Bridegroom is the first New York production by the Yazoo River Theater Company, whose founding members are current Yale University undergraduates and recent graduates.
