The Poison Man

Theater For The New City presents The Poison Man, a darkly comic interdimensional murder mystery written & directed by Eugenia Macer-Story.

A circus performer-astrologer-tax accountant is conjuring spirits according to sorcery diagrams and gets more than he bargained for as by a series of odd coincidences he is suspected of the “hot dog wagon” serial poisonings.

This is a satiric play but there may be some resonance with socio-political topics. The wife of one victim escapes by feigning madness. Or is she actually also pushed over the brink by a ghost? Gypsies circulate among the protagonists trying to sell protective icons.
