The Opportunities of a Night

Two French aristocrats from three centuries ago echo contemporary society as they come together in a bedroom. He wants to seduce her, while she wants to be loved. Two concepts of love confront each other in The Opportunities of a Night, where the present meets the past in the immutability of sentiments. This U.S. premiere by French company Nouvelle Experience is part of the New York International Fringe Festival. Florence Blondeau directs Crebillon Fils’ play.
